After running it for ten minutes it became clear this was the tool that would help me fix years of migration from flickr / picasa / apple / google back to my own network. It reminded of a tool I found years ago that helped do something similar when I had a NAS crash and a bunch of photos had their filenames truncated.
Checked my email, it was this.
I don’t mind a little cost, I’ll think of it as a tip for great service.
