| I tried a little storm chasing this evening. Ended up by Big Fish Lake near Tom's place by Cold Spring. On the right side of this picture you can see the thunder storm coming. Ten minutes later it was really coming down. |

| I am still having trouble finding something interesting to shoot now that summer is here. All the trees are full of leaves, so the woods is dark, and no animals are to be seen. The flowers in the woods are long gone. I went out again tonight and had to be satisfied with another sunset shot. I'll see if I can't kick it up a notch tomorrow. |

| I have been trying to learn a little more about what my camera will do. One of the options is to take pictures in what is call 'Raw' format rather than JPEG. This allows processing on the computer after you have downloaded the image from the camera. I went out to Heims Mill and took a few duck pictures for samples to work with. They aren't too good, but it is cute to see how much the little ducks have grown already. |
