PhotoMove does not run on macOS. It is a Windows program. On a Mac, run Windows in a virtual machine, then install PhotoMove inside that Windows machine.
A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) needs Windows 11 for ARM. An Intel Mac can use Windows 11 in the virtual machine.
Parallels Desktop
Parallels Desktop creates the Windows machine on your Mac. It offers a 14-day free trial.
On Apple silicon, Parallels Desktop is authorized by Microsoft to run Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise.
VMware Fusion Pro
VMware Fusion Pro also runs Windows on a Mac, including a Mac with Apple silicon. Fusion Pro is free. You do not need a license key. Download it from the Broadcom Support Portal.
Windows license
Windows is licensed separately. Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion Pro do not include a Windows license.
VirtualBox is not a dependable way to run Windows on a current Apple silicon Mac. Use Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion Pro.
